Overview

Environmental Adventure Company is a company dedicated to providing exciting travel opportunities, combined with unsurpassed educational experiences. These adventures are designed to provide a better understanding and appreciation of the beauty and wonder of our natural environment.

From Whale Watching on the Baja coastline to the magnificent splendor of the Aurora Borealis in the chill of the Arctic tundra, travelers with EAC do not just see the world… they actually experience it. And since every trip is truly an adventure, not just a cookie-cutter vacation, you will enjoy once-in-a-lifetime experiences to remember and cherish forever.

It is the company’s firm belief that customers bring their own unique and valuable experiences to a trip. Therefore, each of the adventures is made more valuable with the sharing of group experiences. Environmental Adventure Company is committed to providing a total educational experience that includes lectures, seminars and tours covering all facets of the environmental issues, natural features and cultural history relevant to the trip’s adventure site. Their tour guides are experienced biologists, historians and educators dedicated to ensuring a safe and satisfying travel experience. They strive to be culturally considerate and environmentally conscious, but most of all, to have fun!

Small Group Adventures
EAC takes pride in keeping their groups small – an average of nine to eleven travelers! They believe to experience nature in its true intimacy, and to witness those “up-close” wildlife encounters, the small group has the best experiences. Environmental Adventure Company believes that quality surpasses quantity.

Experience and Reputation
The success of EAC is directly related to the years of quality programs they have consistently operated. Their programs are recognized and chosen by some of the top conservation organizations in the United States. Environmental Adventure Company has been selected by the National Wildlife Federation, Smithsonian’s National Zoo and the Audubon Society, as well as many others, as their premier tour operator. EAC strives to be culturally considerate and feels a responsibility toward the communities they affect with their visits, and strives to work with locals to ensure only positive impacts.

One of a Kind Itineraries
From watching wolves and grizzlies in Yellowstone National Park to monitoring green sea turtle in Costa Rica, EAC knows that you want the rare and unique – that’s what they provide for every adventure.

Unique & Exciting Lodging
Experiencing the natural world does not necessarily mean you have to sacrifice comfort. EAC searches out the best accommodations at each of their destinations, to bring you as close as possible to nature and satisfy the senses. Often times the accommodations chosen add so much to the overall experience.

Good Food!
After a day of watching whales in the St. Lawrence or hiking the trails at Bryce Canyon, Environmental Adventure Company knows that good food is a must. They choose restaurants that offer the greatest diversity of meals, including vegetarian and other dietary options. Also one of the greatest experiences of international travel includes tasting the local cuisine.
