Vancouver Wilderness Paddle Half-day sea kayaking adventure and salmon beach barbecue. Guest travel in safe and comfortable wooden two-seater kayaks. The boats are all handcrafted and feature single open cockpits for easy entry and exit. Breathtaking scenery and wildlife awaits paddlers in the calm waters of Indian Arm, most southern of the Northwest Coast fjords.
Highlight of the trip is a salmon barbecue served on a small, island marine park in the middle of the inlet.
Getting there is part of the adventure! You drive along Vancouver’s scenic North Shore on a remote road through uninhabited rainforest.
”Just a quick note to say thanks. My son Darren and I enjoyed a great day yesterday sea kayaking at Indian Arm. I'm sure you already know but Caroline is an absolute gem and she had nothing but energy and encouragement. We appreciated how much she put into the day and we certainly received a terrific memory in exchange. We won't hesitate to call you up again and I'll be sure to tell all my friends that we found a wonderful way to experience the city.
PS Lunch was awesome.”
- Andrew from Toronto
”We just got back home from our visit to Vancouver, and we wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our "wilderness paddle" on 2nd June, and also to say thanks again for re-arranging the trip for us at such short notice. We had a great day out on the water, and it was a pleasure to meet Gordon, who was a most interesting and entertaining guide - please pass on our thanks and good wishes to him as well.”
- Chris & Alexandra from Whales, UK
”My husband and I went on the tour July 21 with Dale as our guide. There was a lovely couple from Texas also to visit with. Indian Arm was beautiful beyond belief. Dale was filled with lots of local history as we paddled around. The lunch he grilled was fantastic and the swim afterward was refreshing. At the end of our trip, Dale recommended a beach front restaurant for dinner that would have a lovely sunset and he was right again! We were celebrating our 32 anniversary and this tour was definitely a highlight. I will recommend this tour to anyone who is headed to Canada.”
- Dan & Libby from Chicago

”I joined you on a whale watching safari a couple of weeks ago and had such a fantastic time that I would like to book another trip! I will be coming back to Canada in August and would want to go on the whale watching trip on Thursday 25th August and there would be two of us. I hope the whales are still around in August.”
– Helen from the Isle of Whight, UK.
