Manu Expeditions counts on a reliable team of boat crews for the rainforest, and trained camp cooks for remote areas. Trip leaders are fluent in at least English and Spanish. They are experts in their fields. Rainforest leaders are naturalists and biologists who have spent much time researching in the Manu Biosphere Reserve area. Bird watching trips are led by very experienced neo-tropical ornithologists. Manu Expeditions can take care of your travel arrangements in Peru before or after you join one of their expeditions or tours and can arrange transport and hotels needed throughout. Manu Expeditions is owner of the Manu Wildlife Center Lodge next to the macaw lick, in conjunction with a local conservation group, and rainforest research is constantly underway at this facility. Fixed departures leave on Sundays (six and nine days), Mondays (five days) and Fridays (four days). Should you require a private or customized trip for your group only, Manu Expeditions can of course organize a trip to fit your requirements. The trips use a variety of lodges ranging from rustic to very comfortable. All leders are bilingual biologists and naturalists. The trips emphasize a pristine rainforest experience coupled with comfort and expert leadership. Lodges and boats are top quality and safety is an important factor.
